Work has begun on turning the old Sainsbury’s site on Farnham Road into a new storage unit. Big Yellow self-storage has announced that their development is now underway, as contractor MCS Group starts construction of the facility. The move is part of a major expansion into the North West by the business which also has 27 storage parks across North and Mid Wales and the border counties. A business centre and self-storage company has completed the purchase of a site in Warwick to support its expansion. Squab Storage, which has its headquarters in Leamington, has purchased a site at Tournament Fields Business Park and will have invested close to £3.5m in the facility once it has been converted to a self-storage operation.
