Plans for a new three-storey Cinch Self Storage facility in Edmonton have been submitted.

Proposals for the site at 267 Church Street, on the corner with the A10 Great Cambridge Road, consist of a central reception, associated offices and facilities, loading bays and storage bins. The design statement says the facility will cater to both domestic and commercial users.

The development will accommodate 5,820 square metres of self-storage units, 17 car parking spaces, and space for refuse and landscaping.

The site currently contains a milk distribution centre, Milk & More, which will be demolished to make way for the new store if planning permission is granted.

Cinch Self Storage currently operates twelve facilities across the UK and in the design statement for the scheme has said the proposal will create a “high quality building and make improvements to the public realm”.

More information on the plan can be found via Enfields Council’s planning portal, using reference number 23/03134/FUL.
