Cinch Self Storage Acquires Site For New Facility in Swindon, England

A huge new self-storage facility is set to open in Swindon following the acquisition of a brownfield site in the Wiltshire town. Cinch Self Storage has added to its portfolio of 20 facilities, which are mainly based in the South East, by buying up the site at Cheney Manor Industrial Estate to the north west of Swindon town centre. Big Yellow Begins Work on Development at Old Sainsbury’s Site in Slough, England

Work has begun on turning the old Sainsbury’s site on Farnham Road into a new storage unit. Big Yellow self-storage has announced that their development is now underway, as contractor MCS Group starts construction of the facility. Once complete, the Big Yellow site will be 62,000 sq ft. and span three storeys. Located on the Slough Trading Estate, it has a 35-week build programme, with a completion date of March 2024.
