Storage Business Invests In New Rubery Facility

A storage and removal business has invested in a new facility in Rubery.

Squab Group has acquired the final lot at Birmingham Great park, Hollymoor Way. The company has expanded its services to offer removals, van hire, document shredding, and business center and conferencing facilities.

Hortons’ Estate completed the development for Squab Group which is set to open this month.

Alex Henney, director for storage operations at Squab Group, said, “Hortons has designed and built a phenomenal building that will provide customers with a unique self-storage experience. “Our facility in Evesham – that we developed with Hortons – has been voted the number one self-storage facility in Europe, and we have aspirations that our Rubery operation will continue to lead the way in the UK self-storage industry.”

James Slater of Hortons said, “We have enjoyed a successful relationship with Squab over the last five years and it is pleasing to see another Midlands-based business continuing to thrive.”
