If you are in the middle of a move, wanting to keep your belongings safe or need extra space to store business inventory, then you need a storage facility that not only looks after your belongings but gives you peace of mind that your possessions are safe.

Eurogroup International, a long-established specialist in international moving, has expanded its offerings by launching a new self-storage facility in Gorleston-on-Sea.

As a member of the British Association of Removers and the global corporate organisation Fédération Internationale des Déménageurs Internationaux (FIDI), Eurogroup International has built a reputation for excellence in the removals industry, and this new venture will see customers able to store possessions on the Beacon Business Park in Gorleston.

The facility looks to provide a safer, more secure and innovative storage solution to the local community, offering a variety of container sizes to customers.

Standard steel shipping containers are prone to ‘container rain’, which is a seasonal issue where condensation collects and damages stored items. Eurogroup has invested in cutting-edge insulated containers, preventing moisture accumulation and ensuring that belongings remain dry and safe.

Co-managing director of Eurogroup International, Richard Crowther, said: “We looked at the standard 20ft container steel box and saw some disadvantages. Instead, we went for an insulated container that can be split into two and into four.”

This flexibility allows customers to choose the perfect size for their needs, whether it’s a full container, or smaller units that are 70sq ft or 35sq ft.

Its containers are also cost-effective, as Eurogroup International ensures customers pay only for the space they need and at affordable prices, making it a practical option for individuals and businesses alike.

Self-storage facilities provide extra room to store a range of belongings, seasonal items, inventory, equipment and more. And if you need to protect or pack your items before storing them, Eurogroup International offers a full range of packing supplies, including boxes, tape and protective products for furniture at competitive prices, offering everything you need in one place.

The facility in Gorleston-on-Sea was chosen because it offered “quality warehousing”, said Richard.

The facility is environmentally friendly, has solar panels, and the entire building was designed with the environmental impact at the forefront.”

Security is its heart; with robust measures including secure perimeters, restricted access controls and surveillance systems, Eurogroup International ensures that possessions are always safe and secure.

We have double security, with access through two gates as well as CCTV,” added Richard.

There is 24-hour access as well, allowing customers to pick-up or drop-off their items at any time of day.

While providing a personal service to customers is a high priority – including tours of the site and containers – the facility has a state-of-the-art system that allows automatic access.

The software we’ve put in place fully automates the booking process, so a customer can go online, fill out the forms, do the payment process and the security ID process,” explained Richard.

From there, our system will give customers a digital ID and they can move in later that day without having to have any contact with us.”

Customer confidence is what Eurogroup International strives for, and as members of the Self Storage Association UK (SSA UK), it meets strict security, cleanliness and regulatory compliance standards.

Whether customers need storage for a few weeks or several months, the team at Eurogroup International are there to provide an exceptional service that is tailored to customer needs.
