Locally based developer Tulfra Real Estate has acquired land in Jersey City for the construction of a 2,422-unit self storage project. The facility will be located at 300 Thomas McGovern Drive and will have a gross square footage of approximately 261,000 square feet, including an adjoining parking structure will also be constructed as part of the project. Squab Group, a family-operated storage company with three locations in England, is building a new location in Rubery, England. Hortons’ Estate Ltd. will construct the 15,000-square-foot facility in the Birmingham Great Park on Hollymoor Way. Expected to be complete this year, it’ll also offer offices for rent. Squab operates facilities in Daventry, Evesham and Leamington Spa. In addition to self storage, it provides business centers, conference rooms, document shredding, removals and van hire.
