A South West storage specialist has opened a new facility in Hayle, Cornwall, following a period of rapid expansion. Britannia Lanes will open its new site following a refurbishment project, supported by an initial building purchase loan and subsequent funding facility from Lloyds. Safestore, based at Bellotts House at Bellotts Road, applied to Bath & North East Somerset Council for planning permission to make changes to the building and yard. Lidl has applied to open a new supermarket in Abingdon Road in the town.
