First easyStorage Drive-up Self-Storage Site Opening Soon in North Belfast [Northern Ireland]

EasyStorage lines up first Belfast facility on site next to new York Street Train Station – The Irish News

A new drive-up self-storage site is set to “open soon” on vacant land close to a train station in North Belfast.

The site close to York Street Train Station will be the first easyStorage franchise to open in Northern Ireland. It will contain up to 432 storage containers on currently vacant land adjacent to Cityside Retail Park.

The planning application for the site was brought to Belfast City Council in late 2024. The easyStorage brand offers a “no-frills approach to storage” that is “hassle-free and secure.”

The company was founded in 2017 and following a licensing deal with easyGroup, the group behind companies such as easyJet, the storage brand has opened in 37 cities in 11 different countries.

A listing on the easyStorage website states the Belfast site on York Street will be “opening soon”, with signs appearing at the site too.

As for what customers can expect, the brand said there will be 24 hour access, dedicated storage container units, 24 hour CCTV monitoring, as well as electricity and car parking available. The website states prices for the drive-up storage container site are expected to start at £28 per week.

easyStorage has been contacted for further details.
