Plans to refurbish a self-storage site in the Twerton area of Bath have been approved. Safestore, based at Bellotts House at Bellotts Road, applied to Bath & North East Somerset Council for planning permission to make changes to the building and yard. A global supermarket could be opening in Didcot soon as fresh plans have been unveiled which could create dozens of new jobs in the area. Lidl has applied to open a new supermarket in Abingdon Road in the town. A former bowling alley and snooker hall is set to become a 24/7 self-storage centre at the end of this month. Councillor Louise Harrison, Deputy Mayor of Walsall, will cut the ribbon on the new Nest Storage Centre at Old Hall Industrial Estate in Bloxwich on January 28.
