Fashion retailer Plaza Collection has submitted an application to redevelop a former Lookers showroom on Bury New Road. The £7m plans are in two parts: an infill structure to connect the two former showroom buildings that currently occupy the 1.4-acre site and a standalone five-storey self-storage scheme. Plaza Collection, which has been trading since the 1980s, is currently based on Broughton Street in nearby Cheetham Hill.
